After following WordPress’ instructions for Administration over SSL I was stumped on why Firefox kept telling me “Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete” and Internet Explorer would just crap out.
After many hours of of Googling, I finally found the solution by disabling link translation in my web publishing rules:
After clearing the checkbox, the HTTP to HTTPS redirection worked like a charm!
